I have long believed that a home-made gift gives a piece of self since in that gift is one’s skill, ability, creativity, and time. Through the years my gifts to family and friends have included cross stitched pictures, crocheted afghans, embroidered bookmarks, and decorated ornaments.

Three years ago, when the world of beading captured my imagination, I started making jewelry as gifts. Jewelry-making immediately became my passion and now it has also become my business. 

I am eclectic in my approach to creating a piece of jewelry, however, overall my style is one of simplicity and uniqueness. I have always loved that which is different yet simple.

I choose various colors, shapes and sizes of beads and put them together meticulously and carefully.  It is only when the piece feels right that I crimp and complete it. I like to think that each finished piece is a symphony—not of sound, but of visual beauty.

Working with beads has opened up to me an awareness about uniqueness.  Each bead has a shape, texture, size, color, and hue of its own, much as each human being does.
